"There is perhaps no greater challenge for the community and economic development industry of South Carolina as we all endeavor to change the plight of South Carolina’s low-wealth families and communities. We believe that South Carolina’s community-based development industry is worthy of investment and capable of sustainable transformation in low-wealth communities.  The Southern Association for Financial Empowerment has an unwavering commitment to furthering the work of South Carolina’s community-based organizations – and we relish this opportunity to forge new ground in the community development finance arena.”
